Ms. Asha Nayak completed her BPT from Bombay University, MPT(Obstetrics and Gynecology), Lactation Councelor (IYCF) - BPNI-WHO certified, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).

From the last 11 years, she is working as Lactation Counselor certified by Breastfeeding Network of India. She specializes in women’s health problems from adolescents till geriatrics. As a Lactation Consultant, she has assisted mothers with correct positioning and latch, counseled on breastfeeding techniques and advantages, advised and assisted with expression of breast milk and storage, dealt with problems of engorgement, demonstrated use of breast pumps and expression of milk. She has conducted Monthly Classes for nurses regarding Lactation and Breastfeeding & is an active participant in women’s health issues and Incontinence camps. She has conducted promotional events for Women’s Day and Mothers Day at Sagar Hospitals.
