Dr. Kumuthini completed her MBBS from Thanjavur Medical College, MD (Biochemistry) from St John’s Medical College.

She worked as a Junior Resident in Chennai Medical College Hospital and Research Center, Trichy & in St Johns Medical College and Hospital. She has teaching experience for Undergraduate & Post Graduate students. She worked as Consultant Biochemist, Authorised Signatory and Quality Manager in People Tree hospitals - Goragunte Palya. She was also a Consultant-Biochemist at Prima Diagnostic & Lucid Diagnostics.
