- The first Indian doctor to start Transitional care module for cerebral palsy at Nagpur.
- Along with Dr Ashok Johari President of IACP. She has been instrumental in initiating 3rd Oct as National Celebral Palsy Day as a community awareness, Adovacacy and public educational initiative from the year 2010 onwards which has now become its popular community awareness initiative.
