Dr. Vivekananda completed his MBBS and MD and went on to do his DM Neurology at M S Ramaiah Medical College, Bengaluru. During his Neurology training, he was involved in three international trials in Multiple Sclerosis, which vetted and honed his interest in the field of demyelinating disorders.

After completing his Neurology training, he worked as a Consultant Neurologist at BGS Global Hospital, Bengaluru, for two years. He then went on to set up the Department of Neurology at Sparsh Super Specialty Hospital in 2015, where he worked as the Lead Consultant for five years. While at BGS he also served as an Assistant Professor at BGS Global Institute of Medical Sciences for two years.

Dr. Vivekananda has currently joined the Neurosciences team at Sagar Hospitals, Bengaluru, as a Senior Consultant Neurologist where he is committed to a high standard of clinical and ethical practice with a special interest in demyelinating diseases, Parkinson’s disease, headaches and stroke.
